Ascentrove is a living organism of unknown origin. It exists in the form of a perfect sphere, and within it is a mirror of the entire cosmos. Galaxies, nebulae, black holes, the full breadth of the universe compressed and contained within a single object. It is not of any known civilisation.
It operates as a living organism operates, not by choice or judgment, but by nature. When conditions are met, it chooses its host and fuses. When they are not, it remains dormant.
Ascentrove doesn't just boost its host. It removes the ceiling entirely. The host gains the ability to see, shape, move, and transform energy in ways that were never possible before. Speed becomes instantaneous traversal. Repair becomes creation. A light jump becomes a multiversal gateway jump. Not as a source of fuel, but as the amplifier and conduit of it.

Three thousand years after Ascentrove was first discovered, the universe it touched looks nothing like it did before. Technology built on Ascentrove energy is now a part of everyday life, used by most beings across the cosmos.
Countless species inhabit the universe, on their origin worlds, through colonization, or civilisations built entirely from scratch. The millennia of change that followed have produced both utopian and dystopian societies in equal measure. Military installations, research facilities, megacorporations, and civilian worlds are among the many that make up the fabric of this universe.
The Multiversal Council of Ascenthrope serves as its governing body.
Celes'thar - The Mystically Mythical Universe
Celes'thar is the parallel universe adjacent to the Alpha Universe. Where one speaks the language of science, Celes'thar speaks in something far ancient, arcane, mythical, and steeped in traditions that mirror the same energy truth in an entirely different language.
The same energy laws apply, but here they express themselves through arcane tradition and mystical forces. Engineers, craftsmen, and inventors exist here too, but their creations are powered by arcane energies rather than the technology familiar to the rest of the cosmos. Multiple dimensions overlap. Multiple realities bleed into one another. The energy that holds it all together does not answer to science.
Dragons, unicorns, phoenix, angels, and demons share this universe alongside humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes, fairies, and the undead. The landscape itself carries the weight of ages, from breathtaking vistas to the ruins of civilisations long forgotten.

The Void - The Shattered Universe
The Void. Also known as The Shattered Universe and The Last Land Beyond. A realm where energy reached a state of perfect, permanent stagnation. An entire universe worth of energy removed from active circulation. Frozen. Preserved. Present, but permanently unreachable by conventional means.
Since the dawn of time, the Void has sat heavy on the cosmic energy equation. But stagnation left long enough in absolute darkness congeals. Something emerged from the accumulated weight of malice, emptiness, and frozen darkness. Not created. Not sent. Something that cannot be quantified as energy. Something terrifying beyond measure. Simply what those conditions produced, given enough time.
Every black hole in existence works as an entry point. A network of tunnels leading into the Shattered Universe. This is what lies beyond them.
